Hastings resident, Saul Guerrero - Alvarez, 42, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings.



Services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 10 am at the Grand Island soccer field with the Reverend Pastor Paul Knott officiating. Interment will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard. Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm, with a Rosary following at 7pm on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings. Apfel Funeral Home; Hastings is in charge of the arrangements. Saul was born on November 27, 1972 at Atapan, Michoacn Mexico to Maria de los Angeles Alvarez-Guerrero and Don Luis Guerrero Guerrero. He grew up and attended school in Atapan Michoacn. He was united in marriage to Corina Marie Sisneroz on January 17, 2000 in St. Paul, Nebraska. After which the couple lived in Grand Island, Nebraska where he was employed by Imperial Palace. In 2002 he moved his family to Hastings, where he was employed for many years by T & L Irrigation.



He was a member of Hastings Berean Bible Church. He was a volunteer coach for the YMCA years ago when his sons were small. For the past 10 years hes been a goalie for the Grand Island Mens Soccer League whom he played for the Hastings Team. Over the years he was ranked top third goalie, four different years, the last being 2014.



Saul was a very loving and devoted husband and father and papa of two grandsons.



He is survived by his wife Corina Marie Sisneroz-Guerrero, his four sons, Mario H.Chavez-Sisneroz , Carlos Bautista-Guerrero and Alex Saul Guerrero all of Hastings, and AB Rafael Bautista-Guerrero whom is stationed at the United States Lackland Air Force Base in San Anotnio, TX, two grandsons Issac Raymond Sisneroz-Guerrero and KiVrie Raemond Sisneroz-Guerrero both of Hastings, his Mother Maria de Los Angeles Alvarez-Guerrero, and two brothers Felix Guerrero-Alvarez (wife Maria Dolores Molina Torres) and Luis Guerrero-Alvarez (wife Maria Elena Oseguera Islas) of Atapan Michoacan Mexico, one sister Josephina Guerrero-Alvarez (husband Juan Manuel Ceja) of Los Reyes Michoacan Mexico and many nieces and nephews that he so dearly loved.



He was preceded in death by his father Don Luis Guerrero Guerrero and two infant sisters
