Scott Armes

Scott E. Armes, 67, of Grand Island, NE died on May 5, 2024, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center. There will be a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, NE. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Scott was born on April 21, 1957, in Hastings, NE to Harold and Lorraine (Uhrich) Armes. He grew up in Hastings and received his education at Hastings High School. He was united in marriage to Connie Vandeberg on June 15, 1980, in Grand Island, NE. The couple lived in Grand Island where he worked at Pizza Hut and Cypress Industrial. The couple separated in 1998. Scott was self-employed during the majority of his working career.

He is survived by his son; Eric Armes; daughters: Ann (Corey) Toy and Alex (Brandon) Tjaden; brothers: Gary (Sharon) Armes, Geoffrey (Maleah) Armes, and Kevin (Jan) Armes; sister, Susan Armes; grandchildren: Lennon Tjaden, Maxwell Tjaden, Emerson Toy, Burke Tjaden, Evan Toy, Beckett Armes Guinan, Eli Toy, and Reid Tjaden; and multiple nieces and nephews.
