Scott D. Cadwell

Scott D. Cadwell, 52, of Alda died Saturday, November 1, 2014, at his home in Alda.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island.

There will be no visitation. Mr. Cadwells wishes were for cremation to take place.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Scott D. Cadwell was born September 23, 1962, at ONeill, NE to Jerome and Patricia (Bradley) Cadwell.

Scott grew up and attended school in ONeill. Following his education he began working in construction.

He married Michelle Drugsvold on June 10, 1998. They made their home in Hastings where Scott and Michelle managed the Best Western Motel. Scotts declining health forced him to quit working.

Scott enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and loved making people laugh. He liked to play cards, various board games and cherished time he spent with his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Cadwell of Alda; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Adam and Kim Cadwell of Omaha and Tyler Drugsvold of Lincoln; two daughters, Nicole Drugsvold of Grand Island and Tara Drugsvold of Hastings; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirlie and Gary Roder of Alda; four grandchildren, Aamori, Jayden, Aliz and Devrick; one niece, Jami Mostek; two nephews, Jason Roder and Brad Roder; seven great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs, Elizabeth and Cari Ann.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
