Sharon A. Jarzynka

Sharon Ann Jarzynka, 81, of Hastings, NE died on January 15, 2024, at Mary Lanning Hospital. Funeral Services will be at 2 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings with Reverend Louden Redinger officiating. Visitation will be at 1 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Harvard Cemetery in Harvard, NE. Apfel Funeral Home is in care of the family.

Sharon was born on April 12, 1942, in Superior, NE to Cliff and Ruby (Thurber) Duncan. She grew up in Harvard and received her education at Harvard Public School. She was united in marriage to Clifford Jarzynka on September 11, 1962 in Aurora, Nebraska. The couple resided in Harvard where she was a homemaker and paraeducator at Harvard Public School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She is survived by her sons, Travis Jarzynka, Troy Jarzynka, Cliff Jarzynka; daughter, Tamara Buscher; sisters, Shirley Galaway, Raeleen Verbeck; seven grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford Sr., and brother, Neil Duncan.
