Shawn Lee Dubbs

Shawn L. Dubbs, 50, of Gibbon died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his home.



Memorial services will be on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Grace Fellowship Church in Kearney, NE with Pastor Mitch Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at the Gibbon Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM Tuesday, August 3rd also at the church. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Shawn was born on June 10, 1971 in Kearney, NE to Larry and Cathy (Heller) Dubbs. He grew up on the family farm and attended Gibbon High School where he played football wearing the #50 and graduated with the Class of 1990.



On September 28, 2013 he was united in marriage to Carmen Bilbasoo. The couple continued to live on the family cultivating the land for hay, crops and cattle.



He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Kearney. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, driving around, working in his John Deere tractor and combine, and Husker football.



He is survived by his wife, Carmen (Bilbasoo) Dubbs.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Cathy Dubbs.
