Hastings resident, Shirley Ann (Loetterle) Zimmerman, 75, of Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings; NE. Services will be held Friday, March 31, 2006, at 10:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald E. Boeschen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Lowell, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2006 from 6 PM to 9 PM and Thursday, March 30, 2006, from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home with the family present Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM, and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Zimmerman was born July 31, 1930 to Harry F. and Virginia (McConnell) Loetterle in Fairbury, NE. She married Howard Zimmerman August 15, 1948. They moved from Fairbury to Hastings in 1963. She was a homemaker and worked as a dry cleaner for Deluxe and Hoff Cleaners, in Hastings, NE. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, church choir and the Lutherans Woman's Missionary League, in Hastings, NE. She was also a member of the International Trainman's Auxiliary, and the Elks Club in Fairbury, NE. She is survived by, husband Howard, of Hastings, NE, 2 Daughters, Becky Jacobitz of Kenesaw, NE, and Carol Meyer of Hastings, NE, 2 Sons, Mark R. Zimmerman, and Scott Zimmerman both of Hastings, NE. 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. 1 brother, Don Loetterle of Buffalo, Wyoming. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Mary Young and 1 brother Harry F. Loetterle Jr. A memorial will be established.
