Sibby E. LeBeau, 91 of Grand Island, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at his home.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church in Grand Island. The Reverend John Hayes will be officiating. Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle, Wyoming. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grace Baptist Church.

Sibby Johnson Edmund LeBeau was born August 12, 1923, at Promise, SD to Johnson A. and Eudora Ann (Travestie) LeBeau.
He attended the St. Joseph Indian School and then St. Marys Prepatory School where he graduated.
Sibby entered the U.S. Navy in 1941 serving as a frogman with an underwater demolition team in both the European and Pacific Theatres of Operation. He received his honorable discharge in June of 1946.
Sibby did various jobs following his military service. He did ranch work in Cheyenne, SD, worked on shrimp boats in Georgia and then as a mechanic in Edgemont, SD.
He was introduced to, Mae Clauson, by Maes brother, Marvin Williams who was Sibbys fishing buddy. Sibby and Mae were married on May 28, 1948.
Sibby worked and attended night school to pursue his degree as a mechanical engineer. He moved his family to Bremerton, WA in 1963 where he worked in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. In 1980 then ran the Indian Center in Bremerton until 1984. They moved to Newcastle, WY in 1985. Following Maes death, he moved back to Bremerton, then later to Trail City, SD.
Sibby met Marilyn (Gilligan Pascoe) Roy and they were married on August 9, 2000, at Grand Island, where they made their home.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn LeBeau of Grand Island; one son, Randy LeBeau; one daughter, Sherrie Bone; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; 10 step children; 31 step-grandchildren; 41 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mae; and infant daughter, Linda; and two sons, Terry and Larry LeBeau.
