Steve R. Dreher

Hastings resident Steve R. Dreher, 91, of 842 N. Briggs, died Friday, October 06, 2006, at the Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, NE. Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Parkview Cemetery with military rites with the Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2006 from 12 noon to 9 PM and Monday, October 9, 2006 from 8 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Dreher was born, July 28, 1915 to Joseph and Frances (Lalley) Dreher, in rural Pauline, NE. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the 8th Army Pacific Theatre and Occupation of Japan. He married Lola Mae James. He worked as a baker at Debus/Metz Bakery. He was a charter member of Bakers Local #433. He is survived by his wife, Lola Mae, of Hastings, NE, 3 sons, Keith and Lyle both of Hastings, NE and Kent of Redland, CA. 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Memorials may be given to the family.
