Clay Center resident, Thomas Parnell, 52, died, Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 10:30 at the Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with Pastor Carl H. Rehwaldt officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 PM Wednesday at the Minden Cemetery, Minden, NE with the Rev. Donald Becker officiating.. Visitation will be today 5 PM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Services and 1 hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Parnell was born June 20, 1954, to Thurman and Jane (Brown) Parnell in Hastings, NE. He graduated from Harvard High School in 1972. He married Lois Johnson, June 26, 1982. He has lived in the Clay Center area since 1989 coming from Hastings. He worked at Montgomery Ward, T-L Irrigation; he was presently working at Eaton Corporation in Hastings, NE. He is survived by his wife, Lois, of Clay Center, 1 daughter Amy and friend Brad Eubanks of Blair, NE, 1 son Nicholas of Clay Center, 1 stepson Sean Morse of Lincoln, NE, His mother, Jane of Harvard, NE, 4 brothers, Paul of Harvard, Craig and wife Linda of Harvard, Rod and wife Kim of Panama, NE, and Bob and wife Nataly of Lincoln, NE. mother-in-law, Bena Johnson of Axtell, brother-in-law, Elwood and wife Candy Johnson of Seward, NE. sister-in-law, Judy and husband Steve Nelson of Loomis, NE. sister-in-law, Marcia and husband Bill Lewis of Bellingham, WA. And many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Thurman Parnell. Memorials may be given to the family or donors choice.
