Treasure Joy Stever

Treasure Stever, 69, of Grand Island, NE died on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Bryan Medical Center – West in Lincoln, NE. 

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Apfel Funeral Home with Rev. Bev Hieb officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.afpelfuneralhome.com.

She was born on October 21, 1953 in Weehawken, NJ to Robert and Frances Waldhelm. She graduated from Toms River High School. She worked as a Direct Support Professional at Mid Nebraska Individual Services. 

She loved cooking, baking and taking care of others. 

Those left to remember her are her daughter, Michelle Callahan; four grandchildren: Teylor, Leana (Blake), Kobe and Kinsley; great grandchild, TJ Barker; sister, Melody; brother-in-law, Jim Roe; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Devaraux, and Bob Waldhelm; sister, Jackie Minervini; and granddaughter, Brooklyn Ann Bellamy
