Twila J. Norris

Twila J. Norris, 76, formerly of Hastings, NE passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Burwell Community Memorial Health Center.



Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, August 3rd at Apfel Funeral Home.



She was born on July 8, 1946 in Lynch, NE to Arthur and Alice (Tork) Rumsey. She received her education from the Hastings Public Schools and graduating from Hastings High School.



She was united in marriage to Richard Norris Sr. in Hastings, NE. Afterwhich the couple lived in Hastings, NE where Twila was a homemaker.



She is survived by her son, Richard Jr. (Linda) Norris; daughter, Susan (Jay) Swanson; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Norris Sr.; sister, Leona Rodgers; brother, Ronald Rumsey; step-brother, Arthur Zobrist and niece, Joy Rumsey.
