Hastings resident Van Bryce Kelsey, 61 passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at his home. Private family funeral services will be at a later date. Van was born August 17, 1952 to Stephen H. Sr. and Juliet M. (Pierce) Kelsey in Haxtun, CO. He graduated from high school in McCook, NE in 1970. He worked construction most his life. He is survived by two sons, Steven Kelsey of Decatur, TN and Joseph Kelsey of Ft. Collins, CO, three granddaughters Teya, Breyana and Sofia Kelsey of Decatur, TN, one brother, Stephen H. Kelsey Jr, and one sister, Lynn A Bullock both of Hastings, three nephews, Raleigh, Paul and Chaz Kelsey, two great niece, Rachel Bok of Miami, FL, and Emily Kelsey and one great nephew, Gavin Kelsey all of Hastings, one nieces, Michelle Pace of Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
