Vera Mae Hill, 86 of Grand Island, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at her home.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014, at Third City Christian Church with the Rev. Scott Jones officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation hours will be 5-7 Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Third City Christian Church, Autism Society of Nebraska Grand Island Chapter, Saint Francis Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
