Hastings resident, Vervie M. Bobbie Aman, 95, passed away, Monday, January 17, 2011 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village. Memorial service will be Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11 AM at All Saints Chapel, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village, with Pastors Steve Hodgson and Larry Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Cambridge, NE. Book signing will be Thursday, January 20, 2010 from 5 PM to 9 PM and Friday, January 21, 2010 from 9 AM to 4:30 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Vervie was born February 17, 1915 to Benjamin F. and Frances (Munden) Millard in Hastings, NE. She graduated from Hastings High School. She moved back to Hastings, NE in 1976 coming from Ayr, NE. She worked at the Hastings Regional Center in food service for 26 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hastings, NE. She is survived by two sons, Stanley and wife Barbara of Juniata, NE, Benjamin of Hastings, NE and two daughters, Lorelei Hart and husband Gene of Burchard, NE, and Debra Kort and husband Wayne of Coaldale, CO, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren,3 step great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and one step great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Karen Rozmiarek, one granddaughter, Kelly Jo Aman, one grandson Patrick Hart, two sisters, Leota Peters and an infant sister, and two brothers, E.T., and Varnum Barney Millard and an infant brother. Memorials may be given to the family to purchase material for the Asyra Hospice Care, Grand Island, NE.
