Walter W. Stoeger, Jr., 71, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 5 at his home in Boelus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 Monday, July 11, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island with Father Martin Egging and Father Tom Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cairo. Family will be receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Dannebrog/Boelus EMTs. Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island is in charge of arrangements
