Zona Belle King

Hastings resident Zona Belle King, 83 passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village.



Services will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2 PM at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in the Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in care of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com.

Zona was born, September 19, 1935 to Mildred King in Hastings, NE. She worked as a maid at the XL Motel in Hastings. Zona enjoyed embroidery, word search, books, bingo at the Villa and visiting with people.



She is survived by cousins, Ronald (Norma) King of Trumbull, Ron Dickinson and Wesley Dickinson of Hastings and many other cousins.



She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, John Parkinson.
